VYHH is a high-molecular-weight vinyl chloride and vinyl acetate copolymer resin supplied for solvent-based coatings, printing inks and surface-treatment systems. The published molecular weight is approximately 27,000, with a vinyl chloride/vinyl acetate composition of 87±1%/13±1%.
The grade combines chemical resistance, solubility, coating strength and thermoplastic properties. It is intended for formulations using a sufficiently strong solvent blend; the current product data gives a 50% ketone and 50% aromatic-hydrocarbon blend as an example.
Solvent choice, resin concentration and compatibility should be checked in the customer's complete formulation before production.
