Acetyl Tributyl Citrate (ATBC) is a liquid citrate ester supplied as a non-phthalate plasticizer. It is mainly used in compatible PVC and cellulose-based formulations to improve flexibility, processing and low-temperature performance.
ATBC is a colorless to pale-yellow transparent oily liquid with low volatility under normal handling conditions. It can be considered for flexible films, coatings, inks, adhesives and other polymer products after compatibility and end-use testing.
Hanghui supplies ATBC for industrial customers and can provide current TDS, SDS and batch COA for commercial evaluation. Requirements relating to food contact, medical products, toys or other regulated applications must be confirmed against the applicable regulations and supporting documents before use.

ATBC has good compatibility with a range of vinyl and cellulose resin systems. In a suitable formulation, it helps reduce hardness, improve flexibility and support processing without introducing a phthalate plasticizer.
Performance varies with the resin grade, plasticizer dosage, fillers, stabilizers and processing conditions. Customers should verify plasticizing efficiency, migration, extraction resistance, heat ageing and finished-product requirements in their own formulation.
• Flexible PVC products: Used in compatible PVC films, sheets, profiles and moulded products requiring flexibility.
• Cellulose-based materials: Suitable for evaluation with cellulose acetate, cellulose nitrate and related resin systems.
• Coatings and printing inks: Used as a plasticizing component where film flexibility and resin compatibility are required.
• Adhesives and sealants: Can be evaluated in suitable formulations to adjust flexibility and application properties.
• Regulated end uses: Use in food-contact, medical, toy or similar products is subject to the selected grade, formulation, migration results and regulations of the destination market.

The addition level should be determined according to the resin system and the required hardness, flexibility and processing conditions. For a new formulation, carry out a laboratory compatibility test before adjusting the dosage.
Add ATBC under normal mixing conditions and ensure uniform dispersion before processing. Avoid introducing water or other contamination. Review the current SDS before handling and large-scale production.

• Keep the package tightly closed and store in a cool, dry and well-ventilated warehouse.
• Protect from direct sunlight, excessive heat, moisture and contamination.
• Handle as a chemical raw material and follow the current SDS and local transport requirements.
