Polyethylene Wax is a white powder with uniform particle size, good gloss and easy dispersion. It is used as an additive in surface coatings, offset inks, plastic paints, coil coatings and compatible powder coating systems.
Hanghui offers three grades: HH-PEW2011, HH-PEW2012 and HH-PEW2013. The grades differ in particle size and melting point, allowing selection according to the requirements of the coating or ink formulation.

● Coatings: Used as an additive in surface coatings, plastic paints and coil coatings.
● Powder Coatings: Used to increase coating hardness and abrasion resistance, and to assist with gloss control.
● Offset Printing Inks: Used as an additive in compatible offset ink systems.
● Solvent-Based Flexographic and Gravure Inks: Used to improve abrasion resistance and reduce the coefficient of friction of the ink.
● Benzene-Soluble and Alcohol-Soluble Inks: The product page states that it can improve ester adaptability in compatible systems.
The general addition level stated on the product page is 0.5–3%, depending on the formulation system. The wax powder can be dispersed by direct high-speed stirring in solvent-based coatings and printing inks. Grinding mills or high-shear dispersing equipment may also be used; control the temperature during processing.
A pre-dispersed wax slurry with a concentration of approximately 20–30% can be prepared when needed and then added to the formulation to reduce dispersion time.
