Product Overview

HH-PU500 is a polyester-type polyurethane resin series produced from polyester polyols and isocyanates. The products are supplied as colorless to pale-yellow transparent liquids in an ethyl acetate and isopropanol solvent system.

The series is offered for ink, coating and flexible-packaging formulations requiring pigment wetting, adhesion and bonding performance after lamination. HH-PU500A, HH-PU500B and HH-PU500C have the same specified solid content and solvent composition, with different viscosity ranges for formulation selection.

Final suitability must be confirmed with the customer's pigment, solvent system, substrate, printing or coating process and lamination conditions. Where the finished material is intended for food packaging, compliance should be assessed for the complete formulation and the regulations of the destination market.

Grade Selection

HH-PU500A: Specified viscosity of 300-700 mPa·s at 25℃.

HH-PU500B: Specified viscosity of 400-800 mPa·s at 25℃.

HH-PU500C: Specified viscosity of 300-600 mPa·s at 25℃.

• Select the grade after checking viscosity, pigment wetting, compatibility, adhesion and lamination performance in the customer's complete formulation.

Contents and Methods of Use

Introduce HH-PU500 into the formulation under controlled agitation and combine it with compatible pigments, solvents and other binders according to the customer's production procedure. No universal addition level is specified because the required amount depends on the substrate, pigment loading, viscosity target and finished-film performance.

Before production, carry out a laboratory trial using the actual substrate and process. Check solution compatibility, printing or coating viscosity, drying, adhesion, blocking resistance and bond strength after lamination.

Packing, Transportation and Storage

• Packing: 180 kg/drum.

• Store in the original sealed container at room temperature below 30℃.

• Shelf life: 6 months from the production date under the stated storage conditions.

• Keep away from heat, ignition sources and direct sunlight. Prevent moisture contamination and keep the container closed after use.

• Transportation and handling shall follow the current SDS and applicable regulations for the solvent-containing product.
